Marketing to Animal Advocate
I spent 10.5 years working for a multi-million pound company heading up marketing and e-commerce. I've got a lot of experience in the corporate world and loved every bit of it. But I realised I wanted some flexibility in life and in December 2023, I started my own Digital E-Commerce Consultancy business, Meep Media.
I help other businesses with their website presence and SEO, increasing traffic, and driving more sales, whilst working remotely, so I get to see the world. My business still runs successfully.
I never thought I'd be here, putting my skills to rescuing animals anywhere in the world, helping other shelters and having such a big online community, but it just feels completely where I should be.

How it started

Finding Nala
On 10th October 2024, while travelling through Indonesia, we found Nala. A 2 month old puppy who had been dumped on the side of a busy road. Discarded in a pile of dirt and trash, skinny and covered in fleas, I knew I had to take her home and try and save her.

Helping Jenny & her Puppies
1 month later, a street dog we’d been feeding called Jenny, gave birth to 5 healthy puppies on our doorstep; we took them in. It was then we found out we were staying in the villa Jenny had lived in with her last owner, when they left, they just left her behind to starve. She was malnourished, so thin and had 5 babies to feed.

Saving Bella
On our last day, we found a 3 month old puppy, Bella, dumped at a temple with a broken leg. They told us she was likely thrown from a height to cause her break. Covered in ticks she needed antibiotics and treatment straight away. We had just enough time to find her a foster home and get vet care, it's unlikely she would have survived.

The Rescue Community
We definitely didn’t think we’d have 8 rescue dogs! I turned to social media to share their stories and raised £15,000 to fund their vet care, foster, and travel. I didn’t expect to get millions of views and fast growing followers supporting every step of the way. We found forever homes for them all, and they’re now getting the life they deserved from the start. I knew I didn't want to stop helping after my travels ended and life was back to normal. I reached out to various shelters in the UK, only to be ignored or turned down time and time again. It wasn't until I had my head in my hands of what direction to go in when I got this desperate message to help save 70+ dogs back in Indonesia, I knew it was my calling, and I couldn't let them down.

The Mission
I'd love to have a large enough social media presence, a community, that does not only engage online, but can come on rescue missions with me. I want to be financially able through donations, sponsors & investors to run various shelters and to change the perceptions of rescue dogs. I don't care where in the world, they all need us, and where I can help, I always will. I'd love to create the biggest community of rescuers in the world.

My Childhood Rescue
Puppy was more than a pet—she was my daughter, my best friend, and my sister. She taught me compassion, responsibility, and unconditional love. When she passed in 2023, at the age of 15, after being by my side for half of my life, it was the hardest day I’ve ever faced. I know she’s guiding every step of this journey, and I won't let her down.
